Q: What is Archer Gold?
A: Archer Gold is Archer's premium subscription. It includes a set of new features only available to Gold subscribers, so you can connect with people more effectively and efficiently:
Q: How does private mode work?
A: Private Mode allows you to browse invisibly. Once your Private Mode toggle is on, your profile will only appear to people you message, like and follow. You can turn Private Mode on and off on your Profile tab.
Q: What are Advanced Filters?
A: Advanced Filters contain more nuanced filters to allow you to discover more users who meet your preferences for:
- Distance
- Height
- Weight
- Looking for Me
- Active Recently
Q: How does the Looking for Me filter work?
A: Enabling the "Looking for Me" filter allows you to discover users who have included you in their filtered preferences. This means some of your profile details either align with their interests or they haven't applied any specific filters that would remove you from their view. Essentially, it's a way to connect with users who may be interested in someone like you!
Q: How does the Active Recently filter work?
A: Enabling the Active Recently filter allows you to discover users who have been active in the last 7 days.
Q: How do Read Receipts work?
A: Read receipts enable you to see whether the messages you’ve sent have been read by the recipients.
Q: How does Teleport work?
A: Teleport allows you to change your location from where you currently are, so you can explore profiles near the location of your choosing. You can find Teleport on your Profile tab. Once you enter Teleport, you can search for a location to explore profiles. Your Browse and Discover tabs will display the profiles near the location you Teleported to instead of your current location. To change the location or reset back to your current location, tap on the top Teleport bar that displays on top of your Browse and Discover tabs, or go to Profile tab and access Teleport.
Q: How does Viewed Me work?
A: Viewed Me is a new way to discover people on Archer who viewed your profile. Gold subscribers can now see who viewed them today, yesterday, or any day in the past week via an entry point on the Viewed Me tab.
Q: How does Likes You work?
A: Gold subscribers can now see who liked them today, yesterday, or any day in the past week via an entry point on the Likes tab.
Q: What are Direct Messages (DM's)?
A: DM's allow you to message another member before you become a Match. As a Gold subscriber you will receive 100 DM's every day.
